In a recent interview, Gran Turismo 7 producer Kazunori Yamauchi revealed that the game has surpassed two million monthly players, a notable achievement more than three years after its launch. This continued success is likely bolstered by the title’s strong post-launch support. Yamauchi emphasized the significance of this milestone, noting that the game is in the strongest position of any entry in the series to date. “The status that Gran Turismo 7 is in now is probably the best of any Gran Turismo titles that we’ve had in the past,” Yamauchi said. “We’ve never experienced this phenomenon before, and neither has PlayStation.”
