Disney Afternoon Collection suddenly coming to the Switch and Switch 2 almost 10 years after its PS4, Xbox One, and PC release felt a little weird! I mean, it’s packed with NES games. Now it is here with two additions. The SNES games Bonkers and Goof Troop bring the total number of titles up to eight and add some next-gen adventures to the compilation. While the best entries were already part of the group, the two latest additions still have their moments. Bonkers Let’s start with Bonkers! It’s based on the show of the same name about a bobcat cop…

We’re pretty lucky when it comes to Switch and Switch 2 mystery games. Between Capcom rereleasing games in the Ace Attorney series and titles like Blue Prince being playable on the systems, there are a lot of opportunities to solve different sorts of puzzles. Path of Mystery: A Brush with Death is Aksys’ latest visual novel with point-and-click elements, and it’s got the same sort of tone and investigative element as the Phoenix Wright games. It’s interesting and the sort of title more people should be talking about. Path of Mystery: A Brush with Death begins with Doppo Akazawa heading…

Capcom’s been big on game collections lately. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Capcom Fighting Collection, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Monster Hunter Stories Collection all qualify. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is the next preservation effort, this time targeting seven DS games. After a few hours with it, it seems like a similar sort of approach to gathering games together as the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.  As a quick refresher, Mega Man Star Force Legacy as a series follows a somewhat similar approach to Mega Man Battle Network, in that we’re using cards/chips to determine…

Image via Idea Factory International While sugoroku JRPG games aren’t exactly common, I’m delighted they’re common enough for us to get multiple localizations of them. Idea Factory International brought Calamity Angels: Special Delivery westward. Unfortunately, the gameplay isn’t fleshed out enough to make it feel as captivating as contemporaries like Dokapon. The idea is fun, but playing it can feel tedious. In the fantasy realm of Orkotris, delivery folks belong to their own guild and deliver letters and packages around the country. The couriers’ parties also consist of actual warriors who help get the job done. Players follow Yuri, a…
