Me and Ark took on one of the hardest Fortnite challenges possible — seeing how many Victory Cup games we could win in a single 24-hour stretch. Multiple regions, back-to-back tournaments, and every Finals win paying out $200, meaning every game mattered. We kicked things off on NA-Central, played through the full three-hour Opens window, finished 2nd overall with two wins, and qualified to Finals with ease. From there, it was straight into stacked Finals lobbies as we tried to start this 24-hour run undefeated and keep the momentum going across regions. This video shows the full journey — the…
Since the Xbox launched in 2001, rumours swirled about a handheld Microsoft console which would let you play your games on-the-go. It works natively with Xbox’s Game Pass subscription service out of the box, meaning members will start off with hundreds of games in their library.
School life can encompass a lot. There are classes to attend, extracurriculars to get involved in, and plenty of fellow students to meet and grow alongside. And if you’re attending Demonschool, there’s a fair bit of infernal conflict and apocalyptic terror to overcome, alongside your finals. Demonschool feels like a lockbox of clever ideas. Though the breadth of side…

Marvel Cosmic Invasion presents a problem for me. I’ve never been a Marvel fan, but I am a fan of retro brawlers. Especially when those brawlers are coming from Dotemu, the publishers of both Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, which are some of my favorite games of the last few years. So with that talent in place, could they potentially win me over to liking superheroes? If you’ve played those Dotemu games, or indeed any brawler, you already know what’s happening here. If not, this is a side-scrolling brawler, where you take control of Marvel superheroes and…
| Published: Apr 16, 2019 04:09 am This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic system overall, though there are still definitely plenty of features and apps that people have requested since launch two years ago. Any system changes are made through system firmware updates, of which a brand new one has just released. While it isn’t a major update, there are still a few interesting features included for the Nintendo Switch nonetheless. This latest update for Nintendo Switch is known as 8.0.0 and is now available to download for…
| Published: Jun 10, 2019 07:30 pm This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information One of the biggest knocks against the current generation of consoles from the very start was a lack of backwards compatibility whatsoever, which meant gamers had to hold onto their old systems just to keep playing old favorites. This is why it was such a nice surprise when Microsoft announced their Xbox 360 backwards compatibility program a few years later, which later extended to original Xbox games as well. The release of new backwards compatible games for Xbox One have been…
