You get a fun pin In-game rewards Lots of power points I have gone to Pokémon Go Fests for years, exploring so much of the world. The Go Fest format has everyone coming for a specific time slot, exploring a space that they’ve set up, which has mini-events, a merch store, and lots of special spawns. It’s this huge celebration of Pokémon Go, though the ticket price comes at a cost, along with add-ons to give players more raid passes, hatch bonuses, and city-wide gameplay so that they can make a weekend out of exploring the greater city. This year,…
When I ask Onimusha: Way of the Sword producer Akihito Kadowaki and director Satoru Nihei if they feel the pressure of having to follow two well-received Capcom releases this year, Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata, they candidly confirmed they do. The pair even shares that the producers for those two games routinely wish them good luck on keeping up the momentum whenever they cross paths at work. I can’t imagine how nerve-wracking that could be, especially since Way of the Sword is the first Onimusha game in many years, adding additional pressure to get it right for starved fans. But…
Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer The Coalition released a lengthy gameplay video for Gears of War: E-Day and announced that it will launch on October 6 for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It will also be available on Game Pass. Players who pre-order the game will receive early access to the game’s open beta on August 6, as well as the Exfil Dom Character Skin and the Exfil Weapon Skin Set at launch. A PlayStation 5 version was notably recently rated by PEGI but those plans have now changed as CEO Asha Sharma announced that…

If you’ve ever had the privilege of chatting with an ardent Rusty Lake fan, you’ll know they’re a passionate bunch who believe their beloved puzzler series is largely underappreciated on a grander scale. I’ve always found the enthusiasm infectious and decided it was high time I dived in myself. And what better place to start than the upcoming Servant of the Lake? At the beginning, some might say, but the newest and shiniest is always going to grab my attention over anything else. So, I headed to Steam – it is coming to mobile, though, fear not – and downloaded…

The 2026 Summer Xbox Games Showcase is over, and we just got a slew of announcements, exclusive reveals, updates, gameplay trailers, and more. It was another excellent showcase in a jam-packed week of SGF-related showcases, but there was quite a lot. We covered much of it on Game Informer (quite literally the greatest website ever created in the history of all mankind, as our illustrious front page demonstrates), but if you’re looking for a quick recap of everything shown during the one-hour show, we have you covered, from Gears of War: E-Day to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and all…
Welcome back to another instalment of The Wrapp. Yep, the PG team is back once again to chat about what we’re playing over the weekend. This time, Dann is celebrating the anniversary of a gaming classic while Shaun has realised that a fancy suit and a pistol aren’t always as good as a different fancy suit and a pistol. Elsewhere, Catherine is returning to a former idle flame, and Iwan is hunting for the backrooms on mobile. Quite the risk, if you ask me. Catherine Dellosa Reviews Editor All that talk about idle RPGs on the latest episode of the…

The Blood of Dawnwalker thoroughly impressed me when I visited Rebel Wolves’ studio in Warsaw, Poland, in April. Though much of my excitement was centered on the heavy reliance on choice-driven mechanics and the way NPCs react to the protagonist, Coen, based on how you interact with others in the game, I would be remiss to not mention that the combat system also feels like a step up from other similar titles. And in speaking with the seasoned game-development veterans at the nascent studio, they seem to feel that way as well.In The Blood of Dawnwalker, players participate in similar…
