Sony Pictures announced at CinemaCon 2026 that it is developing a new R-rated animated movie adaptation of Bloodborne. The film will be co-produced by PlayStation Productions, Lyrical Animation, and notably YouTuber Sean “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin. It will also be co-financed by Lyrical Animation’s parent company, Lyrical Media. Additionally, Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group president Sanford Panitch stated that the film will be “very true” to the spirit of Bloodborne.
