Nvidia DLSS 4.5 has just landed via the beta version of Nvidia App, bringing with it the ability to try out the company’s latest and greatest version of DLSS frame generation. Along with yet another improvement to upscaling image quality and the ability to deliver up to five “fake frames” with its 6x frame generation option, what really excited me about this release was the new Dynamic Multi Frame Generation feature. With it, you can unlock the frame rate-boosting ability of multi-frame generation (MFG), but without forcing it to be on all the time. Surely, I thought, it would be…
Verdict A mass of features, including a heated and massaging lumbar support, under-seat cooling fan, integrated footrest, and loads of adjustability make this an impressive chair on paper. However, many of these features are more frustrating than fantastic, and when combined with a high price, they make for an unconvincing whole. Pros Amazing amount of adjustability Loads of features Footrest is a great addition Mesh build is comfortable and ventilating Cons Lumbar heating and massage aren’t very effective AI lumbar support is irritating Infuriating armrests Lots of assembly required The Hbada X7 Smart Ergonomic Chair is absolutely packed with features…
No joke — GFN Thursday is skipping the tricks and heading straight into the games. April kicks off with ten new titles, bringing fresh adventures to GeForce NOW, including the launch of Capcom’s highly anticipated PRAGMATA. A dozen new games are available to stream this week, including Arknights: Endfield, which expands the acclaimed series into a full 3D real‑time strategy adventure. On GeForce NOW, every battle flows with precision and every mission looks sharper than ever. So gear up, grab a controller or gaming device of choice, and get ready to stream — another month of great gaming is now underway. Command the…

This week, five new titles are ready to play instantly in the cloud gaming platform’s library. Screamer drifts onto the scene with retro‑racing attitude and pixel‑perfect speed. Plus, Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1, “Unraveled for Daybreak,” touches down. Hit the Gas The ‘90s called — it wants the cloud. The company behind the popular Geekbench software tool has taken another pot shot at Intel’s BOT software.Primate Labs says that Intel BOT “only supports a handful of applications, meaning BOT-optimized benchmark results paint an unrealistic picture of how a CPU performs in practice. This makes Intel processors appear faster relative to AMD and other vendors than they would be in typical, real-world usage.”Following the announcement last week that all Geekbench results posted courtesy of Intel’s new Arrow Lake Plus CPUs would receive warning flag in the online database, Primate Labs has a new blog post detailing the results of in-house…
The Minirig has been my favorite Bluetooth speaker ever since I first reviewed one nearly 20 years ago. These perfectly-formed cylinders of sonic wonder sound great, have incredible battery life, and have a rugged build that makes them ideal for travel. With this new gold-plated edition, though, well, this one might be for at-home use only. Currently residing on our best Bluetooth speaker guide as my top recommendation for travel, the Minirig 4 is a surprisingly compact mono speaker with power and longevity that leaves most rivals in the dust. Normally finished in a tough brushed, anodized aluminum finish, this…
The Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition is a celebration of where it all started for Razer. It takes the company’s first gaming mouse design and, 20 years on, packs it with the latest cutting-edge tech to create what should be an ultra-desirable collectors’ edition. However, Razer then put a price on it. Never one to shy away from an aspirational price, Razer has gone all out with the Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition. Despite not being built from solid gold, it costs an eye-watering $1,337. Or should I say cost, as all 1,337 of these limited edition mice are already…
It’s tough to pick a favorite of the broadcasts I’ve been receiving from Planet Blip. I’m partial to the rants delivered by Blinker, an artificial being who lives between channels and signs off with “All hail the new static!” I’m also into Quizzards, a combination quiz show/roleplaying game where contestants answer questions instead of rolling dice to find out how their fantasy alter egos perform, and Boredome, where real teens talk about the real issues of the day. (“No adults allowed!”)Blippo+ is a game in the loosest sense of the word. Mostly what you do is scroll between channels to…
Game development teams are working across larger worlds, more complex pipelines and more distributed teams than ever. At the same time, many studios still rely on fixed, desk-bound GPU hardware for critical production work. At the Game Developers Conference (GDC) this week in San Francisco, NVIDIA is showcasing a new approach to bring together disparate workflows using virtualized game development on NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers, powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs and NVIDIA vGPU software. With the RTX PRO Server, studios can centralize and virtualize core workflows across creative, engineering, AI research and quality assurance (QA)…
In case it wasn’t already clear, Nvidia DLSS 5 has been a bit divisive since Nvidia demoed it last week at GTC. The new AI-based real-time neural renderer that ‘enhances’ the look of your games through generative AI has caught the ire of many gamers, developers, and other industry folk, and the latest to add to the pile-on are David Szymanski and Dave Oshry, developer of Dusk and CEO of its publisher, New Blood Interactive, respectively. Nvidia has been quick to try and temper criticism, with its CEO Jensen Huang saying much of the DLSS 5 criticism is completely wrong…
